From the archives. "Breakfast whisky. Close to Knockando, at this distillery's entrance there is an old railway station. Comments from the tasting panel include cornflakes, butter, burnt toast, almonds and honey - which suggests a pleasant breakfast dram! It is a classic Speyside, and an excellent example of the product of this distillery, where they still malt their own barley. The flavour is clean - starting sweet and finishing bitter - round and mellow, leaving a pleasant taste in the mouth which bears no resemblance to toothpaste! The original price for this bottle in 1996 was £41.
Although a condition report is normally included in the lot description, we would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids.
If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please use the link "ask a question" to make specific enquiries or to receive a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen and described.
Please note: due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
