1 bottle Scapa 1979 - 1994. 15 Year Old. Scotch Malt Whisky Society 17.11. No box. 70cl. 55.1%. 96.4 Proof. Level low neck. Good condition.
From the archives. "Fit for a ship's galley. The other Orkney whisky, distilled by the Grand Fleet's anchorage. The most welcome return of a favorite. This one is from a refill sherry cask, light gold colour and a nutty, sweet-sour, spearmint nose. Add water and it is fit for a ship's galley: ozone and seaweed over mint and vegetable soup. The taste is rich and sweet, of malt, ginger, pepper smoke and toffee, becoming dry at the end. A well-crafted dram." The original price for this bottle in 1994 was £42.
Although a condition report is normally included in the lot description, we would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids.
If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please use the link "ask a question" to make specific enquiries or to receive a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen and described.
Please note: due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
