1 bottle Mortlach 1936 43 Year Old. Connoisseur's Choice by Gordon & MacPhail. In presentation box. 75cl. 70 proof. Level in neck. Minor wear to box and marks to label.
Has a receipt stuck on the back detailing that the bottle was purchased at Sutherland Deli, Castle St, Dornoch in August 1980.
Another of these magnificent old pre-war vintage, long aged malts from G&M. The 1936 Mortlachs in particular are renown for their staggering depth of flavour and complexity. This one is one of best ever bottled. A relic of a differnt and sadly long lost era of whisky production.
Although a condition report is normally included in the lot description, we would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids.
If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please use the link "ask a question" to make specific enquiries or to receive a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen and described.
Please note: due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
