1 bottle Ledaig 1974 - 1990. 15 Year Old. Scotch Malt Whisky Society 42.3. No box. 75cl. 57.2%. 101.1 Proof. Level in neck. Some marks to label, otherwise good condition.
From the archives. "From the island of Mull, known by two names. The distillery is presently closed, so that casks are all old and continued supples cannot be guaranteed. Though the whisky is light in colour, the tasters agreed that it had probably come from a second fill of a dark sherry cask, for it has the raisiny taste which characteristic of such. Slightly astringent nose redolent of jam-making in the kitchen. Nutty flavour, but no hit of the peat you would expect from an island whisky." The original price of this bottle was £25.
Although a condition report is normally included in the lot description, we would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids.
If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please use the link "ask a question" to make specific enquiries or to receive a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen and described.
Please note: due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
