King Charles II Blended Scotch Whisky.
This rare old Blend of Scotch Whisky is believed to resemble the Original Whisky sold over 280 years ago in Short's and their Predecessors at their original premises Mason's Hall, Mason's Allen, Basinghall Street London, shortly after the Great Fire of London during the Reign of King Charles the Second.
No size stated / 70 Proof. Good label: Level upper shoulder. No box.
This bottle is part of a wonderful collection comprising of 260 bottles, dating from the 1960s-70s featuring a wealth of rare and unique brands and labels, the majority of which were bottled solely for obscure foreign markets and rarely see the light of auction these days. A great opportunity to acquire examples of, and insight into, a fascinating period in Scottish distilling history. Not to mention more than a few incredible old style drams. See whole collection.
