1 bottle Johnnie Walker Black Label 12 Year Old. Bottled late 1930s. No box. Stopper cork with branded foil capsule. Royal Warrant to Late King George V. Extensive ageing to labels, no strength or capacity visible. Level at corner of shoulder. Ageing to bottle. Liquid remains clear.
A hard to find example of Johnnie Walker Black Label dating from the late 1930s. The whisky at the time had a significatly higher malt content than today's examples and these older bottlings are almost always excellent drams. This example, although significatly aged outwardly, appears internally well preserved and should make for a fascinating drinker.
Although a condition report is normally included in the lot description, we would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids.
If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please use the link "ask a question" to make specific enquiries or to receive a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen and described.
Please note: due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
