1 bottle Highland Park 1958 - 1998. 40 Year Old. In wooden presentation case with cut crystal decanter, stopper and booklet. With original outer cardboard box. One of 665 bottles. 70cl. 44.0%. Level top shoulder. Good condition.
Crowned one of the best Highland Park's ever bottled. This beauty was put in the glass back in 1998 at a natural cask strength of 44.0% - you would of thought this was the first official bottling by the distillery but they bottled a run of 40 year olds in the early 1970s but not again until this was released. I believe the casks selected for this bottling were Spanish Sherry Hogsheads. This is a remarkable and truly beautiful whisky that wears its age very gracefully.
Although a condition report is normally included in the lot description, we would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids.
If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please use the link "ask a question" to make specific enquiries or to receive a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen and described.
Please note: due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
