1 bottle Glenugie 1978 - 1992. 14 Year Old. Scotch Malt Whisky Society 99.2. No box. 70cl. 60%. 105.5 Proof. Level low neck. Minor nic to top of label, otherwise good condition.
From the archives. "Toffee, fruit and liquorice. The first-fill of a sherry cask has given a fine, dark-gold colour and a sweet, dulcet nose, like a well-behaved bar of toffee. Fruity too, with water it smells of citrus, pears and apples, like the first dip into a packet of fruit gums. The flavour is malty and sherried, though not overly so: the sherry wood is as self-effacing as the best of benefactors. The aftertaste is of liquorice." The original price of the bottle in 1992 was £38.
Although a condition report is normally included in the lot description, we would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids.
If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please use the link "ask a question" to make specific enquiries or to receive a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen and described.
Please note: due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
