1 bottle Glencadam 1971 - 1996. 24 Year Old. Scotch Malt Whisky Society 82.7. One of 215 bottles. No box. 70cl. 57.7%. 100.9 Proof. Level high neck. Good condition.
From the archives. "Literally sensational whisky. Not far from Brechin on the South Esk this distillery was said to have been founded in 1825. A remarkably rich colour for bourbon-wood maturation: burnished gold. Nosed straight, the aroma is reminiscent of rich toffee pudding. This is transformed with water into tutti-frutti chewing gum and pot-pourri - we kid you not. The flavour is different again: bitter Seville oranges, with a mildly anaesthetising effect on the entire mouth. Literally 'sensational' whisky, perfectly matured." The original cost for this bottle in 1996 was £57.
Although a condition report is normally included in the lot description, we would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids.
If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please use the link "ask a question" to make specific enquiries or to receive a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen and described.
Please note: due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
