1 bottle Glen Scotia 1979 - 1991. 12 Year Old. Scotch Malt Whisky Society 93.1. No box. 70cl. 58.9%. 103.1 Proof. Level in neck. Marks and small tear to label.
From the archive. "Founded in 1832, this is the other Campbeltown distillery. Closed in 1984, it is now happily back in production: a sentiment with which those who try the produce will no doubt agree. The spirit from this plain oak cask is quite pale, with a sharp nose which surprisingly retains its assertiveness even when diluted. It has a complex, resinous nose, redolent of dried fruit: dates or figs. The taste is soft, sweet and simple by comparison with the nose." The original price for this bottle in 1991 was £38.
Although a condition report is normally included in the lot description, we would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids.
If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please use the link "ask a question" to make specific enquiries or to receive a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen and described.
Please note: due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
