Cross Reference To Delivery Table: 2.00
1 bottle Coleburn 1981 - 1992. Scotch Malt Whisky Society 56.3. No box. 70cl. 65.5%. Level in neck. Good condition.
Smoky and slightly peaty. From the archives. ''The spirit has a fine, dark colour, more bronze than gold. The sherry-wood origin is apparent to the nose, as are flowery scents and a marked maltiness. Somebody said thunderweed. Very sweet taste, but the sweetness of fruit rather than that of caramel. Smoky and slightly peaty. If you must smoke a cigar, this is the whisky to drink with it.'' Thunderweed? that's a new one to me.
Although a condition report is normally included in the lot description, we would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids.
If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please use the link "ask a question" to make specific enquiries or to receive a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen and described.
Please note: due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
