1 bottle Balvenie 1937 - 1987. 50 Year Old. In wooden presentation box with memorabilia. 75cl. 42%. Sadly the foil seal has deteriorated and is extremely fragile. The filling level is into the bottle and is indicated in the images. While every effort will be made to ship this bottle with the greatest possible level of care and protection, we cannot guarantee it will not leak in transit and we therefore recommend direct collection of this lot if possible. Please take this into consideration when bidding. Although dark glass, the liquid looks clear although this is uncertain and is at the buyers risk.
Some say upon its release in 1987 this was the oldest whisky ever to be bottled and started a phenomenon for these super aged single malts.
This particular appearance here at Whisky-Online Auctions is magnify by the respect we also have the classic Dalmore 50 year old & Glenfiddich 50 year old in this one sale! These are all truly magical whiskies that certainly form part of Scotch liquid history!
Although a condition report is normally included in the lot description, we would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids.
If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please use the link "ask a question" to make specific enquiries or to receive a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen and described.
Please note: due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
