Part of an extraordinary collection of legendary bottlings of vintage whiskies from blue chip distilleries released by Signatory Vintage in the mid to late 1990s. This is one of the most interesting bottles from the collection, a 1972 single cask from the lost Lowland distillery Glenflagler, which closed in 1985. Bottled as a 23-year-old in 1996, this Glenflagler 1972 single cask yielded 255 bottles at its natural cask strength of 51.3%, and is a fascinatingly complex, sweet and savoury dram from this unicorn distillery.
