From the archives. "Spangles and white pepper. From the distillery which comes first on any list, built by Dewar's 101 years ago. This example is a 'cracker' but simple and straightforward. Pale gold in colour, with an initial light pastry nose, then wild-flowers and some solvent and white pepper. With water, Spangles spring to mind and the white pepper remains. Appetising and this carries on in the pleasantly sweet, well balanced, clean flavour, with a faint hint of aniseed in the finish. It would make a grand aperitif." The original price for this bottle in 1997 was £39.
Although a condition report is normally included in the lot description, we would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids.
If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please use the link "ask a question" to make specific enquiries or to receive a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen and described.
Please note: due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
