1 bottle Aberfeldy 1985. 28 Year Old. The Gold Of Pitilie. One of 10 Bottles. 70cl. 49.9%. In presentation box. Metal plaque label on rear. Level base of neck. Cosmetic scratches to box otherwise good condition.
This is pretty much a once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire the most limited and prestigious Aberfeldy in the world. “The Gold of Pitilie" believed to be the oldest and rarest commercial bottling in the distilleries 120-year history. Adorned in 22-carat fold with “lost-wax” casting, and a stopper featuring flakes of Scottish gold, the name derives from the distillery’s water source "Pitilie Burn" which is known for its deposits of Scottish gold. Bacardi assured that no more of the 1985 cask will ever be released, thus “guaranteeing this edition’s rarity”. 10 Bottles were created with 8 bottles going to the far east exclusive to Travel Retail, one remains in their archive. This the very last bottle was destined for an event that never took place.
Although a condition report is normally included in the lot description, we would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids.
If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please use the link "ask a question" to make specific enquiries or to receive a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen and described.
Please note: due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
